This year Santa couldn't make it to Grandma and Grandpa Livingston's Christmas party, so he sent his magic elf instead. He told the story of how he was a human orphan adopted by Santa and the elves just like Buddy Elf. He did magic tricks, talked to Santa on his cell phone, had a puppet dressed as Santa, and handed out gifts to each of the kids. The kids weren't sure what to think at first, but after a few minutes they caught on to the humor and magic.
